Rio Del Oro Elementary

Hello Rio Del Oro Families,

Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year!  My name is Kimberly Toledo, and I will be joining the Rio Del Oro team as principal.  I have been living and working in Plumas Lake for about ten years.  My daughter went to school in the Plumas Lake Elementary School District, and is now enjoying life at UC Santa Barbara.  Joining me at Rio will be Rio Del Oro’s first-ever vice principal, Stephanie Dunlap.  Mrs. Dunlap and I have been collaborating for eight years as educators, and we are excited to bring our ideas together once again as we lead the stellar teachers and staff at Rio Del Oro.

As an educational leader, I believe that building positive relationships is the foundation of all learning and student growth. I will foster building relationships with students, staff, and the community, as we at Rio Del Oro work alongside Cobblestone Elementary and Riverside Intermediate School to create an inclusive environment which cultivates creative, curious, resourceful and inspiring learners who will make positive contributions within their local, national, and global communities.

 

I look forward to this journey with the parents, staff, and students of Plumas Lake.
