Cafeteria Menus and Information

Our school provides nutritious breakfasts and lunches daily for our students at reasonable prices.

The Meal Benefit Program provides meals to children who qualify for such benefits according to specified family size and income standards.

Breakfast is available before every school day from 7:30 to 8:00 a.m. Parents are welcome to eat with their children.

A note from our Nutrition Services Manager

We're pleased to announce we have received a federal grant to expand access to breakfast for our students!  Students at Rio Del Oro and Cobblestone Elementary Schools will now have a chance to buy breakfast during morning recess.

All breakfast meals offered at our B-Fast Breakfast stations are priced at $2.00 each, and are eligible for the Meal Benefit program.  Please remember, the Meal Benefit Program covers one breakfast and one lunch meal daily.  If your student wishes to buy a second breakfast meal, they can do so for only $2.00 per meal!

Here's how we plan on starting our B-Fast Breakfast!
All elementary school students at Rio del Oro and Cobblestone will have a chance to pick out a breakfast meal from our B-Fast Cart.  Meals will include
1. Breakfast Granola / Cereal Bar and Cheese Stick, served with Fruit and a choice of Wonderful White or Charming Chocolate Milk
2. Fruit and Yogurt Smoothie, served with Graham Crackers, Fruit, and a choice of Wonderful White or Charming Chocolate Milk
3. Whole Grain Rich Bagel with Cream Cheese or Jelly, served with Fruit and a choice of Wonderful White or Charming Chocolate Milk
and more!

B-Fast Carts will cruise from the school cafeteria onto the school playgrounds, to designated picnic style eating areas.  All students who have snacks from home, or who are picking out a school meal will have this clean space to enjoy their food at.

Our B-Fast Breakfast Menu will grow and change with us, so stay tuned to learn more about the different menu options.
